Ladies on a mission: Former USA winners Alyssa Alyssa Campanella (2011), Shanna Moakler (1995), Shandi Finnessey (2004) and Susie Castillo (2003) pose naked in a new PETA anti-fur campaign
It's been 18 years since she found fame as Miss USA.
But reality star Shanna Moakler showed she can hold her own against her fellow beauty queens as she stripped off for a new Peta poster.
Joining three much younger Miss USA's, the 38-year-old reality star bared all for the tasteful black and white shoot.
Getting into position: The women were seen holding tiaras and sashes while shooting the ad
The four were making a stand against fur - which is routinely still offered as a prize at some pageants.
Joining Shanna were her fellow Miss USAs - Alyssa Campanella, 23, from 2011; Shandi Finnessey, 35, from 2004; and Susie Castillo, 33, from 2003.
In the new ad, shot by photographer Fadil Berisha, the four women are seen standing close together wearing only heels, cupping their breasts and placing their hands on each other's waists and hips.
Having a laugh: The beauty queens looked to be having a ball as they smiled together for the camera
The tagline, 'Feel beautiful in your own skin, and let animals keep theirs' is scrawled across the image.
According to PETA, every year 'millions' of animals - including foxes, minks, raccoons, and even cats and dogs - are electrocuted, drowned, beaten and often skinned alive for their fur.
Despite the cruel treatment, some pageants still offer fur coats as prizes.
She's still got it: Shanna, pictured in LA in April, went on to star in the reality show Meet The Barkers with her then-husband Travis Barker
'I was so disgusted that I would wear this skin of this living being on my body and consider myself beautiful,' Finnessey said. 'What would happen if that happened to a human being? We would be outraged. So what's the difference?'
'When it comes to the anti-fur campaign, it's really close to my heart,' said Moakler. 'I've been awarded fur coats and I'm hoping to stop it in our pageant community.'
'I was appalled, I couldn't believe that that was still going on, knowing what we know today,' added Castillo.
Extreme cruelty: According to PETA, 'millions' of animals are skinned alive, drowning and electrocuted for their fur
PETA is often pushing the boundaries with its animal rights campaigns.
In one campaign, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is shows surrounded by cats with the tagline 'Too much p***y can be a bad thing.'
Another showed chickens in cages opposited concentration camp victims with the words, 'To animals, all people are Nazis.'
Pushing the envelope: PETA's ads are often controversial, like this one showing Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino surrounded by cats with the tagline, 'Too much p---y can be a bad thing'
